I Draw Inspiration from my Garden
For the last several years, I have cultivated both vegetable and ornamental gardens in my own backyard. I have observed the beauty of nature unfold into a vast array of sizes, shapes, and colors through the various plants and trees I have grown over the years.
I have also found backyard gardening to be a therapeutic stress relieving activity that achieves my health goal of work life balance.
I draw inspiration for the day by viewing my backyard garden first thing in the morning. I reward myself at the end of the day by taking a leisurely stroll through my backyard in appreciation of God’s creation.

Where It All Began
My passion for gardening came from my father who has had a garden for as long as I can remember. He immigrated to the United States from his native home of Trinidad and Tobago in the late sixties.
